Recruitment Division Manager – Cranes, Rigging & Transport

Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 + Quarterly KPI Bonuses

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Division Manager – Cranes, Rigging & Transport to take ownership of our crane operations recruitment and delivery across Australia. This is a key hands-on leadership role overseeing all personnel supply too crane, rigging, and transport portfolios — from local taxi crane operations to major tower and mobile crane Companies.
You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, building client relationships, and delivering workforce solutions across mining, construction, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all crane, rigging, and transport recruitment delivery across multiple sites and clients.
• Lead a dynamic team including a Team Lead and three Mobilisation/Scheduling Coordinators.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery within the mining and heavy industry sectors, including shutdowns and large-scale projects and backfill plus rostered work.
• Leverage existing industry relationships to secure ongoing and new work opportunities.
• Drive, implement and action workforce recruitment initiatives, with a focus on sourcing and onboarding crane operators and riggers.
• Coordinate with external training providers and suppliers to ensure all personnel are site-ready with current VOCs and certifications.
• Monitor and manage operational KPIs, budgets, and performance targets.
• Maintain a hands-on approach — willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs, to ensure supply chain continuity and client satisfaction.
About You
• Proven experience managing personnel deliver for cranes, rigging, and transport companies and projects in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of the crane industry — including mobile, tower, and taxi crane operations.
• Demonstrated success delivering workforce solutions for mining projects and shutdowns.
• Established relationships within the cranes and rigging industry.
• Skilled in leadership, workforce mobilisation, and team development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and take a hands-on role when needed.
• Ability to understand EBA's, EA's and circumnavigating Company rate cards to meet market conditions and provide cost effective labour supply.
• Have sound knowledge of recruitment and marketing OR be willing to learn how to engage with the market by utilizing LinkedIn, Seek and other platforms to capture available personnels attention.
