Your Role as a Podiatrist
You'll deliver evidence-based, person-centred podiatry care across aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing settings. You'll contribute meaningfully to people's health, mobility, and independence by:
* Conducting assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
* Delivering high-quality podiatric care and advice to clients and carers
* Reviewing and updating treatment plans to ensure clinical effectiveness
* Providing education on foot health, wound care, footwear, and pain management
* Identifying opportunities for further allied health support
* Completing assessments, reviews, and reporting for relevant funding bodies
* Collaborating closely with your multidisciplinary team
* Maintaining your AHPRA registration and professional development
You'll be primarily based at our Sinnamon Park or Chermside centres, with opportunities to work across other sites depending on client needs.
What We're Looking For
* A tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration
* Experience working with diverse client groups, including aged care and people with disability
* Strong clinical documentation and digital record-keeping skills
* Excellent communication – with clients, carers, and colleagues
* Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to manage a caseload effectively and respond to evolving client needs
* Understanding of referral pathways and allied health supports
Essential Requirements
* Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for work
