Work life balance, team cohesion and collaboration is heavily promoted.About The Role:This is a face paced role suited to those with meticulous attention to detail and solid technical understanding.
You will primarily enhance our documentation and quality assurance.
There will be a focus on design documentation, configuration management, assembly instructions, test procedures and quality control, ensuring our teams work is of the highest standards.
You will also be comfortable writing a variety of documentation including plans, reports, and user guides.The successful candidate will work across multiple projects with software, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams.
You will support the evolution of key technologies from concept through to development, testing, production, and operation.
Your work will ultimately drive adoption of our technologies by the customer.
Working from the office in Tullamarine is preferred and occasionally attending field testing may also be required.Candidate Requirements:Highly capable communicator, both written and verbalFamiliarity with quality assurance methodologiesGood understanding of technologyStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAccurately capture and annotate complex systems and conceptsBuild rapport with a group of highly technical and capable engineersAbility to pass a set of screening tests as part of the review and selection processAbility to predict and appreciate the target audience, their capability, and level of expertise, and write accordinglyApplicants must have full, permanent work rights in AustraliaApplicants must be able to obtain National Police and other related background and security clearances (e.g. ITAR) that apply to the roleAbility to meet the requirements for a Baseline security clearance, at a minimumDefence industry and/or engineering experienceExperience in implementing quality standardsA curious mind and desire to know how things workA sense of ownership and taking full responsibility for the documentation produced, is proud of outcomes, and understands the role it plays in assisting both the company's cause and the customerApplication ProcessApplicants must provide a cover letter and resume as part of your application.
