About The Role
The Warehouse Operator is an integral part of the Warehouse team and includes responsibilities such as picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and performing additional tasks as directed by the shift team leader, supervisor, or management.
This is a permanent position supporting the Day Shift team, with working hours from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
* Load and unload customer vehicles as per a delivery docket.
* Pick and pack orders as per customer requirements.
* Unload trolleys and place orders into racks.
* Ensure that material loaded has not been damaged whilst in storage.
* Maintain the forklift in a clean and safe condition.
* Maintain a clean work area.
* Use and maintain personal protection equipment as required.
* Carry out individual tasks as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader and Supervisor.
Qualifications
* Solid warehouse experience and manual handling capability (up to 20kg).
* Current LF Forklift licence.
* Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy skills.
* Self‐motivation, problem‐solving ability, and a team‐player mindset.
* Good safety awareness and hazard identification skills.
* Will be required to comply with all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
