Position Description:
* Positioning vehicles correctly for loading and unloading operations.
* Using lifting and tipping equipment to load and unload cargo.
* Following all safety procedures during loading and unloading activities.
* Conducting routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
* Calculating load weights to meet legal limits and distributing weight safely.
* Securing and covering goods properly to avoid damage or loss.
* Checking delivery paperwork, inspecting goods' condition, and obtaining delivery confirmations.
To be considered for this role, you should:
* A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence.
* Demonstrated experience in the Road Transport industry
* Minimum 1-2 years of road transport experience required
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
* Valid work authorisation to work in Australia required
* Successful completion of police check and medical clearance required
Annual Salary: AUD 75,000 - 85,000
