About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this full-time role suits an experienced technician who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for:
* Leading and coordinating maintenance planning, breakdown response, and scheduled maintenance
* Providing high-level electrical and mechanical support to ensure plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently
* Prioritising breakdown repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on time
* Supporting and coaching production teams through technical guidance and feedback
* Managing spare parts inventory and developing effective maintenance control procedures
* Supervising external contractors and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
* Promoting a strong health and safety culture across employees and contractors
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance systems and processes
About you
You will bring:
* A full electrical licence recognised in Western Australia (essential)
* A relevant trade qualification
* Strong mechanical capability, including experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and preventative maintenance
* 5+ years' experience in high-tempo FMCG or food manufacturing environments
* Proficiency in CMMS systems (MEX, SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office
* Experience in the bottled water or beverage industry (desirable)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
* A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
