Paediatric Occupational Therapy Capacity-Building Support
The School Readiness Allied Health Program is funded by the Department of Education and aims to support kindergarten educators and the families in their centres to build their capacity to assist young children's learning in the areas of wellbeing, communication and access/inclusion. As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you will be responsible for providing allied health support to educators and families in order to build their skills in supporting children through coaching, modelling, group training, case consultations and other discipline-specific services.
You will be working collaboratively with other disciplines within the team to provide a high-quality multi-disciplinary service to kindergarten educators and the families in their centres. You will also be responsible for managing a caseload through organisation of appointments, handover of services for discipline-specific support and/or joint delivery of sessions.
