Role Overview:
As the Concierge Team Leader, you are the face of guest service, providing personalized assistance and recommendations to ensure guests have an exceptional stay. This role is focused on creating memorable experiences by catering to guests need, such as arranging reservations, transportations, or tours, and offering expert advice on local attractions, events, and venues. The Concierge is a key resource for guests, delivering tailored solutions with professionalism and efficiency, while maintaining strong relationships with local businesses to provide exclusive services and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and supervise the Porter/Concierge team to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and providing accurate information on hotel facilities, local services, and events.
* Maintain high service standards in line with hotel policies, procedures, and Marriott brand expectations.
* Assist the Concierge Supervisor with communication, team meetings, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
* Coordinate guest transport, valet parking operations, and vehicle handling with a strong focus on safety, security, and professionalism.
* Promote hotel facilities and generate revenue through service recommendations and commission‑based offerings.
* Ensure effective communication with Front Office leadership and other departments to support seamless guest experiences.
* Uphold safety, fire, and evacuation procedures, and ensure compliance with all local legislation and company policies.
* Support reception and porterage duties when required, fostering a flexible, team‑focused environment.
About You:
* High School diploma / qualification – college and university degree would be great but not essential
* At least 1 -2 years' experience in an upscale hotel / equivalent environment as a Concierge or related discipline
* Fluent English and local language is essential, any additional other languages would be great
* At least one years' supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
