This is a great opportunity for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our fully equipped Defence Maintenance Contract team based at the Defence Base Workshop at Warradale, SA.
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy military vehicles, including 4WDs, trucks, tracked and armoured vehicles, infantry personnel carriers, and tanks.

About the role:
- Conduct maintenance tasks, including technical inspection and classification
- Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Reassemble, test, clean, and adjust repaired or replaced parts
- Carry out minor body and trim repairs
- Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, ignition, and electronic fuel injection
- Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates
About you:
- CERT III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent
- Experience inspecting, repairing, and maintaining light, medium, and heavy vehicles
- Current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's License
- Australian Citizen with the ability to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
