Your New Role
Reporting to the Camp Manager, your exciting new role will see you being responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared to an industry acceptable standard. You will also provide support to the Camp Manager in operations connected with the Centre kitchen. About You
* Demonstrated cooking experience in a bistro-style outlet and competency in food handling (desirable)
* Ability to work autonomously
* Ability to effectively supervise staff, including volunteers
* Demonstrated experience of managing a kitchen and ensuring food preparation hygiene standards (desirable)
* Eligibility for a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check
Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
