The North Adelaide Football Club (NAFC), established in 1881, is an iconic Australian Rules Football Club within the SANFL, fostering elite men's and women's football alongside thriving junior programs. We are seeking a dynamic Men's Senior Coach to drive this ambition.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Men's Senior Coach will be pivotal in shaping the future of the NAFC. This role is responsible for the holistic leadership and strategic management of the club's Men's football program, ensuring alignment and consistency across all grades and teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Football & Coaching Strategy: Design, implement, and continuously evolve a comprehensive football strategy focused on sustained on-field success, player skill enhancement, and elite performance across League and Reserve grades.
Team Leadership & Development: Provide expert coaching and mentorship to senior men's players and coaching staff, fostering a high-performance environment built on accountability and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong, productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including players, coaching staff, high performance unit, medical team, junior pathways, club administration, members, and the broader SANFL community.
Culture & Values: Lead the development of a winning culture underpinned by the club's core values and aligned with the NAFC Strategic Plan 2022-2026, promoting a positive, inclusive, and disciplined environment.
Club Ambassadorship: Actively promote the NAFC brand and its positive attributes, contributing to the club's public image and commercial appeal.

Proven Results: A demonstrated track record of success in coaching at a senior level, with an ability to drive sustained on-field performance.
Exceptional Leadership: The capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop players and staff to achieve their full potential.
Strategic Acumen: An ability to develop and execute a clear football strategy, coupled with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Outstanding Communication: Articulate, clear, and consistent communication that fosters strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving & Initiative: A proactive, process-driven approach with a keen ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
Cultural Alignment: A commitment to upholding and embodying the NAFC's values and contributing positively to our club culture.
Qualifications & Experience:
Significant demonstrated coaching experience, preferably at a senior level within the SANFL or equivalent elite football competition.
Completion or active commencement of relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., AFL Level 3 Coaching Accreditation) is highly desirable.
A qualification in a related discipline (e.g., sports science, management) will be viewed favorably."
