This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026. The Role 
The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate: 
- excellent curriculum knowledge in the Arts context of Visual Arts for Years 7–12 
- strong Visual Arts teaching experience and interpersonal/communication skills 
- ability to contribute positively to a team and develop an engaging and relevant secondary school Arts curriculum 
- commitment to teaching excellence and regular self-reflection 
- ability to establish a supportive classroom environment with proven behaviour management and evidence-based pedagogy

Eligibility 
To work with us, you must: 
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration 
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment 
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start 
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start
