Vetbiz Pty Ltd is a local business support group, providing a range of specialist business services to a group of veterinary hospitals throughout Southern Tasmania.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Manager with the versatility to also oversee the smooth running of our office environment, to join our small team. This part-time (0.6 FTE) opportunity is for someone who thrives in a varied role, balancing people leadership with day-to-day operational management.
About the Role:
In this dual position, you will be responsible for:
* Everything HR related. You will need to be flexible in your approach, be creative in your solutions and be responsive to the different demands of the hospitals we support.
* Providing HR guidance, support and mentoring to managers and staff.
* Overseeing office operations to ensure a professional, welcoming, and efficient workplace.
* Managing general administration and liaising with a wide range of external stakeholders.
* Supporting senior leadership with organisational initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
About You:
You are an adaptable, resourceful, friendly professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats. You'll have:
* Proven HR management experience with strong knowledge of employment law and best practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and strong relationships quickly.
* The ability to balance strategic HR thinking with hands-on operational management.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, "can-do" attitude.
