At Formline, you will do things differently — we align strategy, design, and construction all under one roof. This role is a key link in that chain: shaping concepts, producing documentation, and working closely with both clients and our internal team to bring clarity and momentum to every project.
You'll be involved from the early stages of design, playing a key role in shaping layouts, progressing plans, and producing documentation that's not only compliant — but clear, intentionally shaped around the client's vision, and constructible.
TYPE Full time - Monday-Friday, typically between the hours of 7am-5pm
Based in Tamworth office - 10-12 Hawker Road Tamworth NSW 2340
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design development: Shape concept layouts, space planning, and architectural design thinking that align with client vision and project goals
Documentation: Produce DA, CC, and construction drawings with clarity, compliance, and precision
Design coordination & collaboration: Manage design workflows and allocate internal resources across projects, working closely with strategy, design, and construction teams to ensure alignment
Detail development: Develop joinery, finishes, and technical details accurately, maintaining intent and buildability
Client-focused delivery: Champion the client's vision at every stage, ensuring nothing is lost in translation from concept to construction

5+ years' experience in architectural design and documentation
Proficient in ArchiCAD Confident producing end-to-end documentation across DA/CDC, CC, and construction
Strong understanding of BCA, accessibility, and construction standards
A clear communicator who works well with others and represents the team professionally
Detail-oriented, design-passionate, and committed to making things happen
