- What role you will play?As an Associate Director, you will play a key role in forming an independent view of the Retail Bank's operational risk profile and effect change in the business through the continual refinement and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework. Working closely with the Retail Lead Director, you will support setting risk appetite, providing oversight and delivering insights and advice to the business on best practice for design, measurement, analysis, evaluation and reporting of operational risk. You will support the Director in reviewing new product and business proposals, working through all areas of the Operational Risk Management Framework with the business such as incidents, risk assessments and reviewing business assurance activities.
- What you offer- Extensive Operational Risk or Internal Audit experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry or Professional Services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and initiate conversations with business leaders on anticipated and emerging issues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with Senior Leaders, gain trust and understand the ability to influence and negotiate. Tertiary qualification in Finance or a related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CA or CFA are desirable.
