Job: Visual Arts, Media or Drama Teacher (Part-Time / Temporary)
Location: St Brigid's Primary School, Middle Swan, Midland, WA 6936. The role commences 1 January 2026 and concludes 31 December 2026, with a possibility of extension.
St Brigid's Primary School is a double-stream co-educational institution catering to students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 6. It values collaboration and provides a supportive learning environment.
Selection Criteria
* Ability to teach Visual Arts, Media or Drama K‑6
* Proven experience in successfully planning, organising and delivering educational programmes
* Ability to work professionally and establish positive relationships with students, staff and parents
* Sound knowledge of art processes and techniques in Primary School
* Creative, organised, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude and genuine interest in the arts
* Ability to integrate art into other subject areas
* Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills creating supportive and safe environments
* Sound understanding of the West Australian Curriculum
Qualifications Required
* Relevant 4‑year tertiary qualification in Primary Education
* Accreditation to work in a Catholic School (or working towards)
