Reporting to the Service Manager, North East Region, your role as the Technician – Field Service will be based at our customer site, Bengalla Mine.
You will provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu Customer Equipment and through your efforts, contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency for the Komatsu Field Service Department.
We're looking for someone who's focused on delivering great customer service and being a supportive part of the Komatsu Australia team.
You'll bring a strong commitment to safety, take pride in your work, and be comfortable working on your own or with others.
Good organisational and people skills are important, along with clear communication – both written and verbal. You should also be confident using computer systems, including Microsoft Office.

What We Are Looking For
* Significant experience in effective Machine diagnostics and repairs.
* Appropriate level of technical understanding of the design & function of current equipment systems and processes (Komatsu experience preferred).
* Ability to demonstrate competency with testing and adjusting machine operating and monitoring systems utilising relevant literature and testing equipment.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to organise and complete all necessary job and work site paperwork.
* Ability to follow required job scope & critical path
Mandatory Requirements
* Trade qualified Plant Mechanic Cert III in Mobile Plant (Essential)
* Demonstrated experience in a similar position.
* Current C Classification drivers' licence.
