We are seeking a skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our Materials Management team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of materials data within our systems. As a Materials Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing purchase requisitions, supporting project teams with material availability, planning and forecasting material requirements, and inspecting and verifying materials to ensure compliance with project technical and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and manage purchase requisitions
* Support project teams with material availability
* Plan and forecast material requirements
* Inspect and verify materials
* Manage materials control functions
* Issue materials and equipment
* Act as site point of contact
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require knowledge and experience with contemporary material management systems, preferably SAP. Additionally, you will need experience working on large-scale construction projects, managing supplier relationships, and possessing strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and a strong professional attitude are also essential.
