Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards (Ward 5B)
The Role:
The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards (Ward 5B) is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce and ancillary staff as a part of the health care team by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the clinical inpatient surgical ward (Ward 5B).
The Team:
* 5B is a fast-paced surgical ward with a strong interdisciplinary team focused on best patient care and outcomes.
* 5B patient cohort includes the Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology and general surgical specialities
* The role of CNE on Ward 5B works in close collaboration with the Nursing leadership team across the ward and the wider Department of Surgery to support exemplary evidence based and patient centred care.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 48hours per fortnight, commencing from 17 July 25until 22 July 26.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $114,851 to $121,886per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
