Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brisbane, QLD, for a Lift Technician. The Lift Technician will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections on elevators, escalators, and other vertical transport systems. Key duties include identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing efficient repairs, and ensuring all systems comply with safety regulations and standards. The technician will also provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades, collaborate with clients and team members, and maintain comprehensive service logs.
Qualifications
Experience in Elevator Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
Strong Troubleshooting skills, especially in diagnosing elevator and escalator system issues
Familiarity with Elevators and other vertical transport systems
Knowledge and understanding of Electricity and electrical systems
Proficient in following safety protocols and compliance with industry standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Australian eletrical licence
Experience in the lift or escalator industry is highly advantageous
