Please note this is a permanent, Part-time (32 hours per week) role over 4 days a week with a preference for one of the days to be Wednesday
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical assistance to the dentist and ensure a comfortable environment for patients and team membersComply with HCF Dental Quality Management System, policies, and proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environmentSupport the Practice Manager and Dentist in Charge by fostering teamwork and smooth centre operations
Key Focus Areas
Patient Flow: Monitor day sheets, coordinate patient appointments, and assist with emergency patientsChair Side Assisting: Prepare instruments and materials, assist during clinical procedures, and develop radiographsSurgery Organisation: Uphold infection control, manage surgery changeovers, and maintain stock and equipmentSterile Supply: Clean and sterilise instruments, validate sterilisation cycles, and maintain stock levelsWork Health & Safety: Comply with WHS standards, report hazards, and participate in safety training

Reception experience or willingness to cross-trainQualifications in radiography, sterilising, and/or first aidCertificate III in Dental Assisting
