Design & Build are recruiting an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a tier 2 construction company delivering major commercial projects in the ACT region. You will work with a supportive Commercial Team that foster professional growth, with flexible work options for the right person.
This is a great opportunity to utilise your expertise in the development of major contracts in collaboration with clients and project teams as well as take a lead in mentoring more junior Contracts Administrators to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with the Client and Project Team to achieve project outcomes
* Mentor and coach Commercial Team
* Lead the project procurement strategy & procurement processes
* Lead project Cost Management inclusive of both Head & Subcontract Variation management
* Manage Head Contract and Subcontractor Progress claim/s
* Manage cash flow at both Head & Subcontract
* Preparation and presentation of Monthly Financial reports
About you:
* Demonstrated experience within a main contractor environment
* Proven experience working in a similar project-based contract and financial administration on other major building developments.
* Additionally, you will be proficient across contract management and have the ability to work independently to resolve contractual issues
