Lead Strategic Asset Manager Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic works programs, providing quality asset planning initiatives, and contributing to Council's return on investment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop whole of life strategic works programs (capital, maintenance and recurrent) and provide quality asset planning initiatives.
* Provide leadership and management to the team, including coaching, developing and retaining a high-performance workforce.
* Demonstrate ability to drive, deliver, and sustain large-scale transformation through data-driven decision making.
* Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment with Council's objectives.
* Contribute to organisation-related infrastructure development goal setting and planning.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role, i.e. project management, project planning, asset management and/or engineering.
* Substantial experience in delivery of complex capital projects and programs.
* Extensive experience in the management of multi-disciplinary teams, engagement, communication, training and capability improvement.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills at all levels across the organisation as well as externally.
