Job Description
The role of Stock Person involves a variety of tasks including loading and unloading products, stock refills, transfers, receipting deliveries, making product claims, identifying hazards, conducting stocktakes and cycle counts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading products
* Stock refill in stores
* Transfer of product
* Receipting of deliveries
* Making product claims on faulty and damaged goods
* Identifying/reporting hazards and issues
* Conducting stocktakes and cycle counts
Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in a stock person position in a retail environment, ability to process high volumes of stock, reasonable physical fitness, sales/retail experience, knowledge of POS systems, flexible availability and an outgoing personality.
