Marketing Automation Specialist
This role supports the enablement and delivery of customer lifecycle marketing programs in Braze for the purpose of driving awareness of products, reaching revenue targets, and maintaining customer sentiment through best practice campaign and journey development/execution.
About the Role
The Marketing Automation Specialist will operate in core areas including campaign use-case enablement, campaign management, and campaign documentation. The specialist will work with the Lifecycle Marketing team and broader Marketing Automation Enablement team to define and refine business requirements for complex campaign and personalisation use cases.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and develop sophisticated and personalised marketing campaigns and programs across In-app message and Web channels, Email and Push within Braze.
2. Support the implementation of experimentation best practices.
3. Support enabling business reporting solutions.
4. Support the development and execution of thorough QA test plans and effective bug/issue resolution.
5. Participate in sprint planning and support with delivery management in Jira.
Platform Management
The specialist will also manage and maintain audience segmentation frameworks for audience and segment creation. Additionally, they will maintain thorough documentation practices – help to manage and optimise core git repos to ensure technical and campaign documentation is discoverable/accessible for key stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have great attention to detail and skilled in all aspects of marketing automation, campaign creation, and production. You will also have experience building out sophisticated dynamic content and personalisation logic in email campaigns, programs, or cross-channel journeys.
You should be experienced and confident in Braze (or another omni-channel platform) where you have championed best practice use of the platform and its features. Solid experience using various programming/templating languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, etc. is essential.
Perseverance in solving problems, good at thinking on your feet, and willing to troubleshoot HTML, campaign, or data issues are required skills. Confidence in juggling multiple priorities and effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations is also necessary.
