The role
Injury Management Doctors is an established injury management practice working with employers and insurers across NSW. We're expanding our team out of our Wollongong rooms.
This is a hybrid role, in person at Wollongong and telehealth, focused solely on injury management. No general practice, no after-hours, no on-call. You'll manage a mixed caseload across workers' compensation, motor vehicle (CTP), and general workplace injuries.
What You'll Do
- Assess and treat injured workers, in person and via telehealth
- Issue Certificates of Capacity and develop treatment and return‐to‐work plans
- Review case files and prepare medical reports and clinical opinions
- Liaise with insurers, employers, and allied health
- Manage cases through to return to work
What We're Looking For
- GP registrar or medical doctor with AHPRA limited registration
- Minimum PGY3+
- No Medicare provider number required
- Clear report‐writing and communication skills
- Interest in injury management, occupational medicine, or return‐to‐work
