Our client is seeking
Restaurant/Duty Managers
to take on permanent full-time roles based at their upmarket hotel in Mt Isa Queensland.
Responsibilities
Coordinating front and back of the house restaurant and function operations.
Engaging with customers regarding concerns, complaints and other queries in a qualified manner.
Regularly reviewing product quality and standards.
Ensuring that company policies, procedures and values are met by all employees.
Organising and allocating shifts appropriately for employees.
Appraising employee performance and providing constructive feedback where necessary to improve workplace productivity.
Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Promoting the hotel/restaurant name and brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
Maintaining operational costs and expenses
Liaising with the owners, head-chef and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Have a strong understanding of food & beverage and function aspects.
At least 1 year previous restaurant management experience (or in a similar field such as a catering operation)
Having a cert IV in hospitality or relevant qualifications in, management skills (qualifications in hospitality management- marketing, or event management will be highly regarded)
Have a robust focus on effective and productive customer service.
Be punctual, a strong leader, and an organised individual.
Be able and willing to work effectively as a team to achieve goals
Have access to reliable transport.
