Family Preservation Role
The Victorian Family Preservation Response is an evidence-based initiative focused on preventing at-risk children from entering or returning to out-of-home care.
Children with unborn Child Protection reports, those aged 0–5, and adolescents aged 10–14 with multiple reports or orders are particularly vulnerable.
Risk factors include early reports to Child Protection, disabilities affecting care, and challenging behaviors.
As a key member of this team, you will use a strengths-based approach including assessment, safety planning, parenting strategies, and collaboration with partner agencies.
Required Skills
