WHAT IS THE ROLE
This exciting position is within the Buzz Airline Client Service Team, reporting to a Regional Client Service Director. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with high-level clients within major Asian airlines. Your duties include liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant product delivery. You will also oversee product refreshes and aesthetic updates during the lifecycle of typical airline contracts, which last 2-3 years.
As this role involves managing international accounts, regular travel will be required.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A seasoned account director who takes ownership of their client portfolio, manages strategic relationships, and identifies new opportunities within these accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience managing high-value accounts, preferably with knowledge of product development in airline or wholesale retail sectors.
* A proven track record of revenue growth and repeat business through effective client relationship management.
* Fluency in Mandarin is essential for managing the Asian client portfolio effectively.
* Strong analytical skills to develop sales strategies and plans.
* Experience leading cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver results.
* Proficiency with CRM and project management tools like Smartsheet and Salesforce, along with advanced MS Office skills.
* Knowledge of, or network within, the airline industry is advantageous—either through direct industry experience or selling into this sector.
* An interest in luxury brands and a passion for travel.
