Community Legal Centres (CLCs) are not-for-profit organisations that provide vital legal and support services to people who need them most. Some centres focus on specific areas like youth, family violence, tenancy, migrants, or Centrelink recipients; others offer broad support within their local communities.
Right now, community legal services across WA are looking for lawyers who can bring experience and heart to their work. We're especially interested in lawyers with experience in:
* Family law
* Family violence matters
* Criminal injuries compensation
* Wills and estates
* General civil law
* Minor criminal matters
But most importantly, we're looking for lawyers who want to be part of something bigger — using their skills to support communities, advocate for change, and help those who may not otherwise have access to justice.
Responsibilities
What's involved?
You'll provide legal advice, information, and representation — and work closely with community partners to ensure good referral pathways and better outcomes for clients. There are also opportunities to contribute to community legal education, stakeholder engagement, and policy reform.
