Salary : Level 4, $95,782 - $100,526 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024)

This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP

The Role

Coastal Lakes College is seeking a dedicated and proactive Participation and Engagement Coordinator to join our collaborative and dedicated team, committed to achieving positive outcomes for students. You will play a key role in enhancing attendance, engagement, and student outcomes through targeted interventions, case management, individual pathway planning and effective collaboration with students, families and external providers to promote engagement and successful outcomes for students. As the Participation Coordinator, you will manage an assigned caseload of students and provide tailored support to address the underlying factors contributing to disengagement. This includes conducting face-to-face outreach, home visits, and working closely with families to remove barriers to attendance, participation and engagement in school, a school & external pathway or an external pathway plan.

Additionally, you will support students in identifying and securing suitable work placements, helping to build theircareer readiness and strengthen school-to-work transitions. They will have a proven capacity to build and sustain strong working partnerships with external stakeholders who can provide meaningful opportunities for students to develop workforce skills and transition into recognised post-school pathways from Years 10 to 12.
