About The Role
This job is high end horticulture with the successful candidate working in a beautiful country location, taking pride and ownership in maintaining and improving a historic estate's gardens and grounds.
The role involves maintaining and enhancing gardens and outdoor spaces. This hands-on position is perfect for those passionate about gardening and landscaping, with a dedication to outdoor work.
Responsibilities include:
* Perform tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and watering.
* Mow lawns, trim edges, and care for turf areas.
* Ensure the campus is maintained and presented to a high standard
* Prepare soil, mulch, and plant beds.
* Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
* ·Adhere to safety protocols for a safe work environment.
About You
* Certificate II or III in Horticulture or equivalent is desirable
* Valid Driver's licence (Manual preferred)
* Previous experience in gardening is essential
* A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
* Knowledge of perennials and historic gardens will be viewed favourably
* Knowledge of ride on cylinder mower use highly regarded
