Airey Building Group are looking for an estimator/ construction manager to join our office team. We are a small commercial building company who specialise in fitouts in the office, education, medical, commercial building work sector and property maintenance.
We are an extremely diverse company who service multiple commercial clients for repeat fitout and maintenance work, along with meeting new clients through referrals/ advertising for 1 off projects. Our company core is old school CUSTOMER SERVICE, QUALITY AND A CAN-DO ATTITUDE.
Our team currently consists of 2 x office staff, 3 x carpenters, 2 x plasterers and a labourer.
Job Responsibilities
* Office based with site visits to ensure/ review all projects/ managing a site supervisor
* Provide estimating on new projects
* Mentor and support team members
* Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
* All works are SEQ based 95% of projects on the GC (Beenleigh to Coolangatta)
Job Qualifications
* Must have NCC and BCA standard knowledge in construction standards
* Must have AutoCAD or like drawing ability/ knowledge
* Problem solver and proactive, positive can-do attitude person
* Team Player
* Ideally site experience to implement this into the office-based roll - ideally 10+ years experience.
* Excel or estimating program experience
* Confident on a PC
