About your AAA-Team
Our South Perth team values collaboration and FUN! You will work with a dynamic group including OT’s, Speechies, Physio’s, EP’s, Psychologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners. We enjoy gathering at our Jandakot community hub, local cafes, and supporting each other and participants. Our Regional Manager, Hannah Dawson, a Physio herself, understands your experience, and her dog Rosie is a regular office mascot!
Job Description
You will support vulnerable community members by acting as an advocate and role model. Your daily tasks will include:
* Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans
* Creating meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminating restrictive practices
* Building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants, such as family, carers, and friends
* Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
About You
To succeed, you will have:
* A degree qualification as an allied health professional (e.g., OT, Speech, Social Work) is preferred
* Experience in creating, implementing, and reviewing behaviour support plans
* Core, Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
