The Emergency Services Agency is seeking applications from experienced, self-motivated individuals with strong leadership skills to fill the position of Director, ICT Procurement, Sourcing and Purchasing. Under the broad direction of the Assistant Commissioner, Capability; the Director, ICT Procurement and Purchasing will ensure timely, cost-efficient procurement and supply of goods and services associated with delivery of the Emergency Services Agency’s (ESA) ICT core functions and services to the ACT community, while developing and maintaining robust partnerships with stakeholders across the ESA, broader ACT Government and industry. The Director, ICT Procurement and Purchasing will ensure the ESA acts with probity and achieves legislative compliance in all activities related to the procurement of ICT goods and services. Additionally, responsibilities include research and analysis, ICT procurement strategy and execution, and ongoing contract and performance management. This position ensures best practice principles are utilised in meeting the needs of the ESA ICT procurement and project’s function.
