At Wellness Embodied, we're expanding opportunities in Cooktown — a picturesque town of 2,500 people with reef, rainforest, and adventure right on your doorstep. We're seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our outreach clinic in a role that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to truly immerse yourself in community healthcare.
The Role
This role is best suited to a self-motivated musculoskeletal generalist with strong clinical reasoning and time management skills. You'll run the Cooktown clinic day-to-day with remote admin support from our Cairns team, and collaborate with an OT who works in the clinic five days a week (outside of school holidays).
Caseload includes:
* Wide variety: NDIS, WorkCover, CTP, and private clients.
* Musculoskeletal, generalist, and community presentations.
* Opportunities to build relationships in the Cooktown community and grow a loyal client base.
Flexibility is key — choose from locum, contract, part-time, or full-time arrangements.

* Ongoing mentoring and collaboration with our Cairns-based clinicians.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
