About the Role
Drive the voice of our customer to deliver and exceed budget targets aligned with our strategic business goals. In this exciting and diverse role, you will lead a National Account Executive along with accelerating business growth and market share.
* Development & execution of mutually beneficial joint business plans
* Optimise promotional planning
* Achieve forecast accuracy targets
* Collaborate with key cross functional teams to deliver best in class range reviews / new product launches and activation execution
What will you do
* Support and drive the customer strategy for the team, developing a robust Joint Business Plan
* Ensure that all JBP initiatives are continuously reviewed and that all stakeholders are held to account
* Responsibility for the 0–36-month forecast, ensuring biases are addressed and reviewed, and forecast accuracy targets are achieved
* Provide exceptional cross-functional communication with key stakeholders to promote continuous improvement.
* Act as the customer advocate within Simplot. Manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders externally and internally
* Analyse, understand and evaluate consumer insights/data and develop appropriate strategies in conjunction with category, brand / marketing team, and activation teams to drive growth and market share
* Lead and develop a National Account Executive (direct report) ensuring capability is in line with expectations to deliver the role and assisting in building an effective Development Plan to support capability on core competencies and future career path ambition
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have had relevant experience in a similar position within the FMCG industry. You will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of account management and will have ideally had experience in a leadership role.
* You will be an experienced Sales Account Manager with a strong track record of delivering exceptional ROI
* Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives
* Commercial Acumen - The ability to understand and analyse detailed financial information and reports
* Ability to engage present and Influence at a senior level (both internally and externally)
* Experience in developing and driving a robust commercial strategy
* Experience at a senior level within FMCG
* Significant experience managing and driving a budget
* Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
* Ability to travel interstate - You will possess a driving license and have the ability to travel occasionally as required
