An opportunity has opened with a large, nationally recognised organisation operating a complex, high-volume property portfolio across Australia. This is a key leadership role within a well-established property function, offering the chance to step into a business where scale, pace and commercial impact are genuinely significant.
This position will see you take ownership of the lease administration function across a diverse portfolio, leading a small team while working closely with senior stakeholders across property, finance and legal.
It's a role that sits at the intersection of property and finance — ideal for someone who enjoys both operational leadership and driving financial accuracy and performance.
You'll be responsible for ensuring all lease obligations are managed with precision — from rent, outgoings and reviews through to compliance, reporting and system integrity. Alongside the day-to-day, there is a strong focus on improving processes, tightening controls and identifying opportunities to reduce cost leakage and enhance portfolio performance.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading and mentoring a Lease Administration team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant outcomes
* Managing lease obligations across a large national portfolio, including rent, outgoings, reviews and critical dates
* Partnering with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations and cost control
* Overseeing landlord payments, recoveries and financial accuracy across the portfolio
* Acting as a senior escalation point for internal and external stakeholders
* Driving system optimisation and continuous improvement across processes and reporting
* Ensuring strong governance, audit readiness and data integrity across all lease records
What you'll bring:
* Solid experience in lease administration or commercial property, with leadership exposure
* Strong financial acumen, with confidence managing budgets, reconciliations and reporting
* A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage a large, complex portfolio
* Experience working with property systems (MRI or similar highly regarded)
