Job Description:
As an occupational therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their development milestones. This includes assisting with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to enable tasks such as playing, attending school, or developing independent skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help children develop essential skills like fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to perform everyday tasks.
* Educate and involve parents, carers, and others to facilitate the child's development and learning.
* Support children with developmental delays to learn daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, and feeding themselves.
* Assist children with behavioral issues to maintain positive behaviors in various environments.
About You:
* Enthusiastic and thrive in a dynamic environment that welcomes new ideas.
* Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Be eligible for AHPRA registration upon graduation.
* Graduated within the last 12 months or be graduating soon.
* Hold a full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle and third-party insurance.
* Have a valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one.
* Possess a clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain one.
* Have NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain one.
* Hold First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain it.
* Exhibit excellent communication and time management skills, along with attention to detail.
