Job Title: Exercise Design Specialist
The Exercise Design Specialist will be responsible for the development, production and execution of demanding and first-rate training activities delivered by a team of professionals. These positions will take the lead on design of Higher Command training design and orders delivery to training units, establishing and delivering detailed and comprehensive products as part of a highly professional team that can interact with training audiences in all required domains.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the planning, management and execution of military exercises in close coordination with uniformed staff.
* Active engagement in exercise development and planning conferences and the provision and development of relevant product to support exercise design.
* Conduct of exercise briefings and planning activities to staff in support of exercise design.
* Supporting the establishment and execution of collective training exercises, including regular field activities in a HICON role.
* Management of key staff within a HICON environment to support training delivery in line with leadership's intent.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 15 years military experience, attaining MAJ-LTCOL Rank at minimum.
* Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite of applications.
* Ability to work as part of a team and to manage a team to ensure high performance.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.

* Excellent time management, organisational and project management skills.
* Self-motivated.
