Who are we looking for?
We have an chance to work in-house with a regulatory body providing advice on administrative law, constitutional law, statutory interpretation, and public law. The work involves both project work and day-to-day advisory work.
You will provide day-to-day advice on a range of administrative law and opinion work, including the application of legislation, advising on breaches, exercise of powers, and statutory decision making. You will also advise on broader regulatory areas including RTI, Privacy and Human Rights, and contribute to Policy that informs legislative changes to national law.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day advice on administrative law and related opinion work, including application of legislation, breaches, powers, and statutory decision making.
- Advise on broader regulatory areas including RTI, Privacy and Human Rights.
- Contribute to policy work informing legislative changes to national law.
Qualifications
- Experience in government, regulatory, or administrative law, with in-house or external counsel background preferred.
- Ability to handle both project work and day-to-day advisory tasks.
