Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Head Carpenter to lead our carpentry team across a range of bespoke projects.
About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a highly skilled carpenter with strong leadership experience and a passion for high-end construction. You will oversee all carpentry works on site, ensuring every detail meets our high standards across residential, pool, and commercial fit-out projects. What You'll Be Doing
Lead and manage carpentry teams across: Custom high-end residential homes, Architecturally designed pools and outdoor structures, High-end commercial office fit-outs
Carry out and supervise all aspects of carpentry including: Structural carpentry and framing, Detailed fix-outs and high-end finishes, Custom joinery and bespoke features
Read and interpret architectural and construction drawings accurately
Assist with scheduling, material orders, and workflow planning by co-coordinating with directors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Ensure quality control and adherence to building standards
What We're Looking For
Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade certification
Minimum 5 years experience in high-end residential construction
Experience with custom builds, detailed finishes, and architectural projects
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent eye for detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to problem-solve and adapt on complex builds
Strong communication and organisational skills
White Card and current driver's licence required
