Operations Supervisor – Kalgoorlie, W.A
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead day‐to‐day transport and logistics operations at our Kalgoorlie site. The role involves achieving operational objectives, meeting contractual KPIs, and driving cost‐effective, safe, and efficient service delivery on Class 1 Explosives and Cyanide. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‐paced operational environment and enjoys developing people, improving processes, and working closely with customers and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include driving safety performance, service excellence, and continuous improvement at the site level.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead operational planning (daily, weekly and monthly) to achieve service delivery and performance targets.
* Supervise and support operational teams, including Transport and Fleet Allocators.
* Champion a strong Safety First culture, ensuring HSE, legislative and customer compliance.
* Manage customer and stakeholder relationships in a dynamic operational environment.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost outcomes.
* Oversee fleet operations, including compliance, fatigue management, scheduling and utilisation.
* Provide visible leadership through toolbox talks, safety reviews and performance management.
What We're Looking For
* Management experience in transport, logistics or a related industry and experience managing Class 1 Explosives and Cyanide.
* Strong knowledge of fleet operations, compliance, fatigue management and safety systems.
* Proven leadership capability with experience coaching, mentoring and managing performance.
* Excellent problem‐solving, planning and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, including varied start/finish times and occasional after‐hours support.
