With the introduction of AI and platforms like ChatGPT, the team are now looking to future-proof the business by bringing SEO/ GEO/ GSO in-house.In this newly created role, the SEO and AI Optimisation Manager will be responsible for owning the Organic Search function, end-to-end. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Digital, you will be responsible for ensuring the platform ranks high on search engines to drive leads and traffic to the site. You will also be a subject-matter expert for all things GEO/ Search for AI and emerging trends and technologies across the space.What you'll be doing day-to-day:Owning and delivering an AI-driven organic search strategy (SEO, GEO/ GSO, AEO)Managing SEO, both on-page and off-pageTechnical SEO Audits as and when requiredWorking across Google, Bing, AI Overviews, ChatGPT Browse, Perplexity, YouTube and voice searchWorking closely with the Content Producer for all things SEO content, and the Senior Digital Marketing Manager for all things Paid.Partnering with Martech partners to deliver technical SEO, performance and discoverability improvementsOwning advanced SEO and AI-visibility reportingRunning continuous experimentation across landing pages, metadata, content formats etc.Providing insights to guide growth strategy, content investment and customer outcomesSubject-matter expert for all things organic search, including future trends and technologiesWhat you'll need to get the role:Extensive, hands-on SEO experience, in either agency or commercially focused in-house rolesAbility to set an SEO strategy and then executeStrong project management skillsExperience working across both on-page and off-pageExperience using AI and automation toolsProven ability to successfully drive organic growth across competitive categoriesStrong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externallyMust be data-driven and commercially-mindedA genuine passion for AI in the Search space, as well as emerging tech and industry trendsSALARY: $110-130k + super (experience dependent).PLEASE NOTE: This role will be office-based on the Gold Coast and not open to remote-working.This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking, tech savvy business who take digital marketing very seriously, and own the SEO function for a business.
