Disability Support Worker Northern Rivers Tweed Heads

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable female Disability Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team. We offer a supportive work environment and a range of shifts across the Northern Rivers region, with an average of 8–15 hours per week.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver person‑centred support that enhances the daily living, social, and recreational skills of clients with disability. You will promote independence, choice, and community inclusion, ensuring all services align with Right at Home policies and the NDIS Practice Standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal Care: Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Passive Sleepover: Provide overnight support, being available whenever the client is awake or requires assistance.
* Manual Handling: Support mobility needs using safe handling techniques and assist with exercises as required.
* Community Access: Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
* Domestic Support: Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintain a safe home environment.
* Care Delivery: Follow support plans and direction from care partners to provide high‑quality, client‑focused care.
* Documentation: Accurately record relevant information and daily notes.
* Collaboration: Work with clients, families, carers, and other professionals to support individual goals.
What You Need
* Australian Federal Police Check
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care & Disability)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* NDIS Worker Screening Check + NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Valid Australian working rights
* Reliable, registered, comprehensively insured vehicle
* Smartphone with internet access
