About This Role
Reporting to the Team Leader - Stores, the Justice Officer - Stores will provide timely and effective day-to-day operations of the prison stores functions including warehouse, procurement and administrative functions, prisoner shop, fleet and prison archive. This role will ensure electronic and paper-based record keeping systems are up to date and accurate. This position requires direct prisoner contact and may involve weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the Victorian Public Service Determination.
Some Of Your Duties Will Include
* Working productively and respectfully as part of a dedicated and supportive team within a rotational roster framework featuring task responsibilities in accordance with the position responsibilities
* Providing high-quality business services related to stores for the prison.
* Ensuring electronic and paper-based record keeping systems are up to date and accurate.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
* Experience in a range of stores related tasks including purchasing, procurement and stock control is highly regarded
* Demonstrated understanding of stores and warehousing operations
* Demonstrated understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Warehousing certificates/qualifications are desirable.
* Forklift license is desirable.
* Operating elevating work platform – RIIHAN301E is desirable.
