Job Description
The Disability Support Practitioner role involves providing personalized support to clients with disabilities, enabling them to build independence and skills. Key responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, administering medication, and manual handling.
Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent is a key aspect of this role. Building positive relationships with clients is essential in this position.
Transporting clients in your own car is also required for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred.
* Embodies CPA values, client-focused approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
* Availability across a variety of shift times, including early mornings, day shifts, afternoons & evenings, and awake overnights.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. We invest $5,000 in training in your first year. This includes specialist training opportunities and buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers.
