Job Description
Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, a stunning property based in Hunter Valley, is looking for an experienced, professional, and enthusiastic Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a welcoming and warm environment, leading your team and driving exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Providing an outstanding guest welcoming experience by demonstrating a commitment to service excellence and maintaining operational standards at the front desk.
2. Meeting guests upon arrival and ensuring they are settled into their rooms.
3. Maintaining professional, open, and honest communication to assist guests and facilitate accurate bookings.
4. Guiding and supporting the team in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
5. Completing all daily tasks accurately and timely.
6. Responding to guest complaints professionally and promptly.
7. Maintaining accurate guest accounts and assisting with daily reporting.
8. Managing team rosters effectively to meet budgetary goals.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will have:
1. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
2. Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
5. Understanding of trust accounting.
6. Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
