Overview
MARS Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Remote Area Nurses (RANs) and Registered Nurses with remote experience to support a range of remote health services across Western Australia. Through our partnerships with multiple services, we offer contract opportunities within well-supported, team-based clinics, delivering essential primary health care to remote communities with established clinical governance and escalation pathways.
$110 - $120 per hour + Super + Penalties

About the Role
You will be working within remote and very remote primary health care clinics, providing comprehensive and culturally safe care across a broad scope of practice.
Key responsibilities include:
* Emergency and acute presentations
* Chronic disease management
* Immunisations
* Women's and child health
* Community health and preventative programs
* After-hours and on-call support (where applicable)
These roles are team-based and supported by visiting clinicians, Aboriginal Health Workers, and established referral and retrieval pathways.
About You
To be considered, you will need:
* Full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no conditions)
* 3-5+ years post-graduate experience (ED, rural or urgent care strongly preferred)
* 12 months+ experience working in a remote or regional setting
* Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
* Current BLS or ALS certification
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Full working rights in Australia
* Ability to commit to a 4–12 week contract
Highly desirable:
* Remote Emergency Care (REC)
* Medical Emergency Care (MEC)
* PHARMACO
* Cultural safety training
Contract Details
* Start dates: March, April & May 2026
* Contract length: 4–12 weeks
* Location: Multiple remote and very remote WA communities
* Extensions: Possible depending on service needs
