The role
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our Adbri Masonry team as a Production Operator based in Ottoway, South Australia.
We have an chance to assist in the production of high-end quality Masonry products as part of a company which strives to maintain its position as a market leader. This full-time permanent role will require you to be flexible and be available for day and afternoon shifts with the possibility of weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Ensure safety, health and setting standards are maintained
* Operate production line machinery and learn to oversee all areas of production on the site incorporating desired levels of quality, quality output, efficiencies, production techniques and costs
* Contribute to improved production techniques and system efficiencies
* Communicate a clear handover between shifts to other operators and the maintenance team
* High understanding of quality assurance/control, conducting routine quality inspections
* Perform manual physical work including product handling and pallet repairs
* Housekeeping and cleaning as required
What you will need to succeed
* Exhibit a strong commitment to environment, quality, health and wellbeing
* Experience in a masonry manufacturing environment
* Possess a proactive and positive attitude
* Strong mechanical aptitude and be process orientated
* Forklift High Risk Licence
